"Regarding the Acquisition of Certain Assets of EMCORE Corporation by HieFo Corporation"

This order was signed by the President after finding that a Chinese owned company, HieFo, may pose threats to US national security. HieFo acquired assets that are used in tech products of the business EMCORE. Due to this threat this order bans HieFo from owning any interests or rights of EMCORE. They have been given 180 days to divest from the company with oversight from the Committee of Foreign Investment in the United States.
