This bill revises the Earthquake Hazards Reduction Act of 1977 which was passed to improve infrastructure, warning systems, emergency plans, and public education as well as allocate funding to do so. The proposed bill adds specifications to be more clear and effective. It also extends the funding period to fiscal year 2028.
